Once the inventory of equipment is prepared, the next step is the tasks or tasks required to maintain each equipments and the frequency with which these tasks are to be performed. (i.e., week by week, month to month, quarterly, semi-yearly, every year).
Preventive maintenance may be the most appropriate time to schedule run-time hours, while for other assets, other meter-based triggers may be more appropriate. Whatever the case, it is important to note these different planning scenarios, while also assessing how much time the PM may need to perform the task.
In outline, a preventive maintenance plan should incorporate the accompanying : a sections list, standard working systems (SOPs), security/lockout strategies and evaluated time to finish the PM undertakings.
